We have so many interesting birds here in Australia; I'd like to show you some of shots I've taken during the year with the canon 20D, the Canon 70-300mm IS and the 300mm L IS prime. I'm still learning a lot, but enjoying the process!
Oh I'd say that you have learned alot already Natalia. These are quite exquisite in every way. I'm so glad you have finally posted... please don't be a stranger.
Cool collection, Natalia. Lorikeets have really weird-looking tongues.
I see no objectionable noise in any of these images. There is a fine line between objectionable noise, and objectionable blur caused by using noise-reduction software.
Dear Jon, Tony, Lil, Charles, Terry, Josh, Andrew, Aladyforty, Jude, and Bongobreeze (I hope I didn't miss anyone!),
Thanks so much for all of your supportive comments - you are the best! I love Australian birds and can't wait to get some more captures. I'm really hoping to capture a picture of the lorikeets in flight or with wings extended some time soon.
