p.1 #1 · Ist outing with 1D mkIII

Bought a second hand 1D mkIII this week and thus was the first outing. Inly made it out for and hour or so but I have to say I am impressed. Here are a few from the brief trip to a local loch near my home.

Ken, those little birdie shots are spot on sharp. Great work on picking sharp focus points, a rather shallow DOF that worked very well, these are great, not much room for error.

Very nice!! I'm having a hard time with my MK III getting anything that sharp especially in A1 servo. Hope it is just me & I will get better.

Thanks for the comments guys. All the shots were taken using a 300mm f2.8 IS with either a 1.4xTC or 2xTC and most of them were hand held also.
