This was in the afternoon during a break in our shoot when Klara was standing in the staircase. The way the light softly fell across her face was just perfect. "Don't move." I said. Once I got the camera and started shooting, it took a few frames to get her to fully relax and get this one.

thanks Jake. i shot all those dog photos in the space of 45 minutes. probably some of the most productive 45 minutes of my life, in terms of capture. i'm going on a fun engagement shoot today. the guy wants to put on his Elvis costume!

in terms of pp, when i converted to grayscale, the wall on the left got too white. so i split toned it in order to add some warmth and soften the impact.

here's a nice crop
