yeah, I am mostly between 1 and 3. I do really like 2, but I can see what you mean about it not conveying technology as much. I think I have a slight leaning towards 1.
1 seems to send to clearest message, and i really like the variety of shapes exhibited, for some reason, those radiating circles are pleasing to my eye =]
2 is nice, but the composition is a bit off IMHO - i feel like the diagonal lines be more diagonal and end on opposite corners (if that makes sense) - just feels a bit unbalenced
3 too visually confusing for me - i still like #1 the best =]
