I'm very new to the DSLR world, but all photography friends recommend this lens as a great walkaround lens and more.

I rented one last weekend and while I didn't have much time to play around it, it was very satisfying.

I'll consider all prices, but please be reasonable (as will I). Looking for a mint, sharp lens.

I'm located in the SF Bay Area so local sellers would be ideal, but I know that's a small chance
