One of the first photos taken with my Canon 10D in April of this year. When I saw this on my computer monitor in comparison to the 2 megapixel Nikon CoolPix 800 photos I had taken of her over the last 2.5 years of her life, it totally sparked a new passion of photography in me. I also felt like I was finally capturing the essence of my daughter with each photo I took of her. 2003 will be a very important year for me in the future because of this life changing experience.

This picture made me go 'wow'. Very nice image of a beautiful child.
I only shot about 4 sessions this year, and it's mostly because I'm annoyed and frustrated with the limitations of my Olympus C3030Z, and I can't afford the pro DSLR that I want. So instead, I spent more time painting and writing. . ..
This particular session I did with a girl named Sao-Ling, who worked behind the counter at my wife's cosmetic shop, is one of my favorite. She's really not much to look at in real life, but I tried to shoot her from only flattering angles.
