p.1 #1 · Port Saint Lucie part 2

Back in the cold of Pennsylvania. Went to Florida to shoot my son's college baseball team games. Many mud puddles and swamp areas to shoot boids. Tell me what you think. Hurt me baby, hurt me.

Ted,

Great shots all! Your "mystery bird" looks like a Tri-colored Heron, and #1 looks like a Wood Stork. The last image looks like a Common-right-hander throwing a 2-seam fastball. Dang! Now you've got me thinking about missing Spring Training for the first time in 15 years Go Cubbies!

Ted,

these are magnificent. I've only been in this forum for a short while, as you know...., but these are your best shots that I've seen (I'm sure you have better that I've not seen).

I agree with Ed's id's. Wood stork as number one & the series with the magnificent heron sure looks like a Tri-Colored Heron.

Great shots - - love the BIF - - Beautiful & ---- well you know...

The wood stork is neat -- amazing looking birds. The Heron shots are great with 2, 4 & 6 being the standouts. Be careful with those cans, that heron may gift you with a present on your head! Your sports shots are great even for a proud father! Steve W

I'm not sure you know what beer is for! Too bad this guy wouldn't get out from behind the grass for you. I really like 4, you held the focus on the eye and that caused the back of the bird to blur some. I think that adds to the effect of the motion. It looks like you enjoyed the warm weather!

Tim great observation. Since I have participated on FM...I keep reading focus on the eyes...the eyes...the eyes...The effect of the motion is that good or bad
