BugLightGeek Offline Image Upload: Off p.1 #1 · Right Place, Right Time Today was DEFINATELY an example of being in the right place AND at the right time. I happened across the Kestrel on the branch. I setup my tripod and managed to get just a couple shots before this Bald Eagle came and chased him away...oh well, at least I didn't mind! Illinois; I'm still waiting to see my first eagle in N CA, where I've been for a long time. The fact the eagles are showing up in Alton might be enough for this "weather wimp" to come back to visit family in the winter (something I'd sworn off long ago after a nasty Christmas trip, weather-wise).
