I received my new 300mm f/2.8L IS lens today and was out testing it and found this poor fella hopping around at one of my favorite wharfs. He seemed self-conscious of me trying to photograph his leg with the missing foot and actually seemed to be trying to hide it from me. I got some shots anyway. I'd love to know the story behind how he lost it.
