Another tough call. This is a situation where dial-up is a real handicap, as I don't have time to view every post in the Best Of series... and I'm feeling out-classed just viewing the last page! Anyway, this is the Faulkner Place Icehouse, Wallowa County, Oregon, last Spring:
Just want to say a big congratulations to all of you guys who have posted!!! The quality of work is outstanding!!!! I feel very priviledged to be able to chat, comment and seek advice from you all!!! Good luck in 2004!!!!
I'm just new here but I like the posted shots very much! Nice to see that also some of my fellow Dutchmen are regular visitors here :-)
I just bought my Canon 10D recently, so this is one of the nicest shots of my first photo shoot. It is one of the mills of the 'Molenviergang' in Zevenhuizen, Holland.
Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! I haven't posted in awhile as things have been a little hectic with the holidays, gallery showings, new equipment set-up (added an Epson 7600) and preparations for our next shoot. It is a joy to see all of these wonderful photographs from a truly talented group. Here is one which has become one of my favorites. A prosperous and happy new year to all of my friends here at Fred's.
When holidaying in Nice and Monaco recently, I was tired of looking at all those magnificent multi-million dollar yatchs which crowded the entire coastline and completely blocked the water surface. I was therefore attracted to this anacronism in Cannes - a simple boat with which I can identify. So I photographed it with my humble Nikon Coolpix with wideangle attachment, and gave it my own interpretation of trying to make it larger than reality.
