Taken on 4 August, 2003. This shot was taken from the observation deck at Sulphur Mountain in Banff, Alberta. The haze you see in the image is the smoke from a forest fire less than 35 km away.
'Amazing how something so devastating can be so beautiful.
The East Bay Marina in Olympia, Washington, with the Olympic Mountains in the background. Shot near sunset in late summer/early fall. Can't say this is THE best, but its one that sells for me and one I give as a gift, so I guess the marketplace says its one of my better images. Good advertisement for the Olympia area. Wish all the days were this pretty.

Greetings Fellow Photographers! It was hard to choose my best picture this year, but if this is not the best, at least it is close to it. Taken this summer at Yosemite, (obviously ) from a bridge just as the sun was beginning to fade. Enjoy.
