BTW - Apple still treats this as new and will repair under warranty and the unit is eligible for the Apple Care package.

Eizo, LC, NEC, the new Dell "HC" screens, et. al.

Stay away from the apples as they're old tech. I don't know why they don't upgrade them, but.....

I have X-Rite Pulse Color Elite system and have plotted the visible gamut of the Apple Cinema Display's and the will display nearly the full Adobe 1998 spectrum without suffering from some of the other problems that high gamut LCD's suffer from.

I'm considering the Dell 2407 HC and would be interested in what problems you're referring to. Dell wants $600 and it seems like a fair price for a good quality monitor. A friend has two and says they've been problem free.
