I like the complementary colors between the dog and tree, contrasted with the snow. If you had a shot of the two which included more space -- not so closely cropped, it could be more powerful.

You have the most obliging dog on this planet....

I think I would have liked this shot as a wide angle for a more intense & powerful feel...

OK, I have seen several of your posts with your beautiful dog and some very serene snowscape settings, and I have liked them. I do have a soft spot for dogs, especially one that seems to be such a truely wonderful, cooperative companion.........like your dog.
I like this picture but just for a twist, I do agree some more space would be nice but here is a thought for this setting in my mind. Give some more space for that beautiful tree, have your dog facing toward the tree, use the dogs tail and back to lead to the tree and have her look back to you. Perhaps a little higher angle and possibly with a wide angle lens(Lil) for the shot too. I like how these two colors tie together, the dog and the tree.
By the way, since I failed to do so, I did like very much your shot of the dog, the park bench, the big tree and the pond with the heavy snow, it is still in my mind, very nice!
