The chestnet (is that the correct description??) on the left really makes this shot work IMO.

Ah ..... There they are.

The chestnut (boy that's a big winter coat) really makes the shot beautiful as it harmonizes (for lack of better word) the shot.

Really like this shot, the chestnut appears as the outsider and prefers to be alone. While the group turns there back on him/her.

I like this image and agree with what the others have already stated. I also think it may look good without the black horses. It would have a totally different feel to it, more cold, stark and lonely. Just a thought.
