I just received my 100-400L and hence I would like to give it a try this week-end. However, I'm not very familiar with the Lansing, Michigan area. Thus, I'm wondering if some of you could recommend me some sweet spot for wildlife photography in a reasonable distance ?
For this period of the year, winter wildlife is the only thing I can expect to find, but since I'll be around until June, feel free to mention spots for warmer temperature, so I will not have to ask the same question in few months
Another vote for the Baker sanctuary. I have a very private place in the woods near Mackinaw. Last year we tried to do a get together but it was a little late in the year. Feel free to PM me and keep in touch as we may try to do a FM get together this spring. Any metro parks in Lansing?
Thanks guys. I think that I will have a look at the Baker sanctuary this week-end.
There is some parks in Lansing along the river trail. I don't know if they are good spot for wildlife. Last time I was there, I was not well equipped for that. I will need to go there and look at these through another lens.
