Another candle shot, I'm not the only one Great take on the WA, I like the lighting and the exposure. I'd try a tighter crop on the left side--might help keep our eyes focused on the flame and the face.
In fact I tried a really tight crop that crops the head just above the eyebrows, the right just behind the ears, the hand below the wrist, and the left was cropped to about 1 candlewidth from the hand. It worked very well.

Great entry, Chad
Thanks for your comments, Chad. I had tried a tighter crop before posting, but felt that the composition of the tighter crop was not as pleasing.
I like the crop you're using.....it implies more moving air to the left of the candle and hand and extends the action to infinity. It's a very nice capture of an expression of our theme!
SUPER IMAGE!

Fabulous shot, Carrol! Everything about it is great! Perfectly lit and perfectly cropped!
I think I may have to sit this week out since in Souther California there has been zero wind and I don't think I have time to mess around setting up some kind of staged shot.
All best wishes,
Endre

Lovely shot that fits both this week and last. The lighting here is superb and I like very much how you have captured her hand. Very nice shot. Good luck this week.

Sorry to hear that! I always look forward to seeing what you come up with for the WA. I appreciate that you took the time to comment even though you're not participating this round.
I'll look for your entry next week!
Regards, Carrol
Your shot is very well done and just the right amout of light works well with your photo, I disagree with the crop, would of liked to see a little less of the dark side the extra doesn't hurt the photo any but its just my taste that too much of nothing shows nothing most of the time. Thanks for sharing and Goodluck
