I ventured into this desert over the weekend. These limestone pinnacles formed tens of thousands of years ago under the sea and were then subsequently covered over with sand. Wind and water erosion have revealed many thousands of these columns. I glimpsed this scene in my mirror whilst driving around and had to shoot it.
I've done a few of the mirror shots before but find yours absolutely well done and you couldn't have found a better way to show this landscape, I'm impressed to say the least, thanks for sharing
Fascinating take on the WA, Bill! Those are certainly amazing looking formations. There are two little greyish blobs in the sky that distract me. Are they clouds, sensor dirt, or smudges on the mirror? Regardles, it's a fine shot!
