A few from this weekend. An extremely tame Male Belted Kingfisher. Fished for hours from this perch. 40D / 600 / 1.4 (for some) combo. Comments and critique welcome as always.

Wow, I just viewed these from my destop PC, and they are really dark, huh?
I need to stop post-processing them from my laptop.

Great series, and look right, on my desktop. I like the timing on #3. I have seen pelicans do that, and it amazes me, they never drop the fish. Well done.

Thank you very much everyone! On my laptop they look great to me as well. On my desktop they look like I cranked up the contrast and oversharpened and saturated the images. Perhaps it's my desktop that needs calibrating.

I have to figure out what happens to my posts - - I replied to this one & it's not here.....

I wrote something like this - - I expected to see a Lion, but was very happy to see the Kingfisher....

These are beautiful & I wouldn't change a thing.. 1, 3 & 4 for me.

Great pictures. You are right about the PP. I have two monitors on my PC, oen cathod ray and the other an LCD. The pictures look fine on the LCD, but dark on the cathod ray.
