p.1 #1 · Mounting Photos

Hello. I have recently been given an opportunity to display some photos in a local restaurant. However, I am not sure if I want to use frames or if I want to try displaying the photos on mounting board.

I really like the look photos without frames but I don't know how or where to get photos placed on the mounting board (so they look professional) and I was hoping some of you could help me out. Any thoughts?

If you get the prints made at White House Custom Color (whcc.com) they offer a number of options (styrene, masonite, foamboard, etc.). You could probably get most/all of these from a local framer if you already have the prints made.

You can also print on Canvas and do a Gallery wrap.

Thanks for the tips. I found a place that will allow me to go with the foamboard for a good price.

Restaurant=smoke (from cooking), fumes, grease spatter...it's all over the place. Those prints need to be protected in some fashion, not just hanging out there on mount board. Did I mention fingerprints, touching etc from the curios?
