So I am at home editing and get a call. I answer and it is http://lindelle.com/ offereing to pay me to shoot for them because they said they are in need of photographers in my area. They just loved my style and the quality of my work blah blah blah kiss my ass some more why dont you. They they said how would I feel if they could pay me $300 a wedding to shoot for them. I laughed and the guy asked what was so funny. I said are you sure you looked at my site. He said yes I am looking at it right now. I said to click on my pricing page. He said ok. Then after a short pause he hung up. WOW what a poor business. They obviously did not do their homework before they called. I googled they company and found all kind of bad info about how they rip brides off and also upsale them on stuff.

It is pretty funny but I wonder how they get shooters to work for them? I mean $300 is not even a good print order for many shooters.

Thats funny, I got that phone call this morning, and I only just now saw this post. I guess they're attempting a Pittsburgh takeover? They're really... bad. I mean, even the website is awful. I'd kindasorta consider it, in a I-just-moved-back-to-this-country-and-I-really-really-need-a-job-right-now sort of way, but I could never stand that shoot-to-burn (completely impersonal) way of working, and I'd never want to be associated with McLindelles. I don't see how I can charge my brides 3k, then show up two years later at her cheap-o crazy cousins wedding that the woman paid $800 for and still consider myself a credible photographer or businessperson.
