p.1 #1 · Looking for a good bird feeder

I'm looking for good bird feeder recommendations. I currently have one like this but it's made of wood, not recycled plastic:

My current feeder is on a stand with a baffle (to keep the squirrels out). My feeder is about 8 years old and is looking like it might be on it's last legs despite cleaning and restaining the past 2 or 3 years.

I like the idea of the eco tough one in the link above. Also, it would be nice to avoid the sell/seed droppings so I'm thinking of getting one of these:

If anyone has any bird feeder that they're really fond of (wow, i just used the phrase 'fond of'!) please post a pic of it.

Also, it would be nice to get bird seed recommendations from people. I've been trying all kinds over the past 4 years that I've been at my current house and haven't found anything that consistently attracts uncommon birds. I get the occaisional Eastern Blue Bird or Cardinal but it's mostly Juncos, Sparrows, Tufted Tit Mice and White Breasted Nuthatches. I'm also lucky enough to have Pigeons and Mourning Doves

Thanks for any and all recommendations!

Dennis here is one I'm really "fond of". I picked it up at Home Depot. It holds 4 1/2 pounds of seeds. The "stand" you see it hanging from is a small tree I cut down in my back yard and moved up closer to the house. Then I drilled a hole and added the "limb" at the top for the feeder to hang from. All I have to do is crack a door open and shoot. The nuthatches and woodpeckers love the bark and it makes a much better perch than a plastic or metal pole.
