I don't think I've posted in this forum before. If I have, it's been a while. I have a new "Bigma" in the bag now so wildlife shots might occupy more of my time. We see the Pileated Woodpeckers at our feeders quite frequently this time of year. Shot this one out the kitchen window. I think I'm gonna like this lens...
I have yet to get close enough to one of these birds to get a shot as good as yours. Congratz. Have fun with the Bigma. They are all not created equal and judging from how sharp your image is, you must have gotten a good one.
