p.1 #1 · MyPhotoPipe.com / out of biz?

I've had printing done from myphotopipe.com before with great results and was going to place an order to discover that their web site is not there any longer. Anyone know if they are either out of business or forgot to renew their domain name, or?

Thanks,

Bob

I went to "myphotopipe.com" and am not getting the site either. Tried to load my ROES software and it won't load... bad feeling about this...

Anyone know what the deal is? Please don't tell me they went under...

They are located in Atlanta, FYI.

OK (whew, I'm breathing again) just did some frenetic searching on Google, found Pete Casabonne's phone number and called. Answered right away even though it's 6:30pm eastern, and Pete himself, Owner of the company answered and explained they are doing a DNS server change and it isn't going the way they were told. So, they will be down for about 24 to 36 hours from 3om Pacific time, 1//9/08.

That's also why the ROES saoftwat won't load, because it connects to the website.

Wow, that was scary.

Thanks for following up with this. I, too, was trying to load ROES with no success. Was attempting to find myphotopipe's forum to find explanation when I saw this thread on Google.
I am new to FM with this posting. I was attempting a search at myphotopipe to learn about establishing a photo storefront for fullfilment in preparations of an upcoming wedding shoot.

I use photoreflect.com for my on-line gallery, and then do manual order fullfillment w/ myphotopipe.com. MyPhotopipe is the best. Next day and sometimes same day service, excellent quality, they are tremendous.

Yep, they are down for the next day or so. I got an e-mail from them so I didn't get into panic mode.

They are absolutely the best and Pete is fantastic to work with. A couple of thousand prints a year for the last 3 years and 2 errors, both fixed and shipped next day at no charge.

I keep waiting for their popularity and growth to catch up with them but so far they are just jamming along

I only wished they offered Lustre prints along with the matte and gloss.

If you get a Chromira glossy it will be similar to Lustre; if I am thinking of what you're referring to. Kind of a metallic look?
