Absolutely!! Nice image; probably not as simplistic as others (a lot going on visually). Thanks for sharing.

How does one define "simple"? I don't really care because this is an awesome shot I love the B&W conversion. Great looking sky.

Great shot,
Chad

this photo has a lot of impact. it's simple in the sense that there are only 5 components (foreground, car, building, background and sky) that make up this image but each of these components is filled with details but in such a subdued, non-distracting way that retains the overall simplicity and elegance of this shot. and they offer the viewer something to discover when they look at the image again/longer.

it's also neat that the photo manges to make me shiver with cold which is quite something considering i'm sitting in my well heated room.

Thanks Vincent. I really appreciate your comments.

It's one of those pictures that I find myself looking at and seeing things that I did not see when I took the picture also. For instance I never saw that the window on the barn was intact or that the boards against the barn were making a series of Xs with the shadows when I took the photo. Sometimes I think the camera is smarter than me.

You are right about the cold feeling of this shot in that it was so cold when I took this picture that I thought I got frostbite on my fingertips. I think it was -5 degrees with a -25 winchill that morning.

Bryan

Great Shot....it really creates a mood. It looks a lot colder than the day you and I were shooting at the canals at the Venetian! You have really done a nice job with this one.
