another great series Doug. Keep these BE shots coming. I can never get bored with them. #8 is amazing. Didn't know that they eat their catch in mid air!
Thank you Thang. I guess the mid air morsels are just appetisers to hold them over until the real meal comes along.
Doug, nice work....if you don't mind my asking, where are you and what equipment are you using? I'm in St. Louis...eagles haven't made it down this far yet, it's been too warm...and I've been thinking of heading north to shoot yet this winter if it stays warm.

Oh, look, it's another Doug Bentlage Eagle post #'s 6 and 10 are my favorites, Doug, and may you get many more before they fly south for the summer.

Yep, that's me! Thanks Mr. Zoom, I hope I can get some more before they fly north for the winter.
Beauties, Doug. I never tire of the eagles, only wish I could get so close without having to put in a days trek to get to them myself--So I'll just have to enjoy yours!

Thank you Bonnie, I'd hate for you to put in all that windshield time, so I'll continue to drive the 6 hour round trip for you.

Thanks coach, god , I haven't said that in about 32 years! I was in St. Louis over the holidays, there were a few eagles in Alton, but they were pretty scattered and not to accessible. I'm not for from Milwaukee, but these were taken on the Mississippi, just outside Dubuque, Ia. All were shot with a MarkIIn and 500mm with a 1.4tc

Great work and fantastic images, Doug. You make this look so easy to do. It requires a great skill , though. # 3,5, and 8 are my favorites.

Thank you for the kind words Socrate, watching and listening to everyone here makes it a lot easier.
