Prior to the air show yesterday, I had contacted Ttown Aubie in order to get together for the show. When I arrived at the show, I called Joe to see where he was. At that time, he hadn't arrived but would be there soon. I called Joe back several minutes later and during that call, I noticed the screen on my phone being very dark which made it almost impossible for me to make the call. After I got home, I immediately plugged my phone up to recharge and saw that the battery was fine. After checking the settings, I found out that the Auto Brightness setting had been turned off, possibly during an update on several apps that I have. It is now back to normal.
When I made the second call, Joe was there with his father about 150' away from me. After the usual introductions and hand shaking, we got down to the business of enjoying the show. Later, Joe and his father went to get something to eat and they wound up meeting some family members, so that was the last that I saw of them. I enjoyed the time we spent together and I look forward to the next show when we can maybe meet up again. After the Heritage flight with Crazy Horse and the F-22, I decided to head for home rather than fight the huddled masses trying to escape the air show grounds all at the same time. I must say that I kinda wish I had stayed for the Blue Angels just to try and get some vapor shots. The F-22 produced some nice vapor and that was a bonus for me considering that I had never seen the F-22 in person. All in all, I enjoyed the show and being able to share the experience with a fellow MA2Aer made that even better.
