Did someone say “peanut butter sandwiches”? Ah, now you’re talkin' – please make mine crunchy – oh and hold all that jello and jam stuff – that's for afters.

Edit for TOPP

Edit the edit - I have no idea why, but my pic vanished. It's on Flickr - just like always.

Well, I for one am glad to hear these are show homes, because sheesh! My house is never that tidy.

Love the spray over the sea wall in that one, Nick.

You lot can keep your peanut butter; hand me that jar of Nutella!

Here's a few from Taylor, during the final air race of the season.

Mark chose to race his Beech 18. He took off first to give everyone some passing practise ;-)

You can't see him in here, but this Beech's co-pilot is a dog

Dave gives me a wave (this was my aerial chariot, earlier that morning)

A typical Wayne takeoff, in this case on the morning after the race

Same guy, same technique, on race day

Midget Mustang

What I saw from my aerial chariot

This year's overall champion; Jeff Barnes, on takeoff

A moment of solemnity for our departed racers, Bob Axsom and Mark Hardin

We look forward to next season...

Thanks Jay. Looks like you had a nice perch on the tower balcony for the C-17 at Luke. Did you catch any of the 15's?

Jim Wilson says...

" I wanted to tell someone that they had me mixed up with a newby who would be willing to put up with complete disorganization, and unrealistic expectations. My back hurt, my arm hurt, most everything hurt because I have been at break neck speeds for a couple of months. But, I did what needed to be done, organized and orchestrated what had not been, took three Advil and "got 'er dun", cuz I don't know any other way. "
.
Jim, this should be the motto for the USA and everyone that lives here.

The camera ship

The flyover, which is always well to the north end otherwise they'll be in Bergstrom's airspace

Thank You J-A. I'm sure your right about the boats being registered in Leith – nearest port and all. The actual place is further east along the cost - Google Maps 55.938032, -2.346891 It's a tiny place called Cove. Up on the cliff top is the village proper with a memorial in the car park to the 180+ fishing folks who perished in one (yes 1) storm......

Wow 180+ that must have been a massive blow to the population of the village.
Great colours in that last one makes me happy after the dull and grey weather we have here today....

Presumably (judging by the coastline) Cove Bay in Aberdeenshire However ARCTIC STAR(LH592) is a 7.35m fishing vessel made of Fibre glass in 1980 registered at EYEMOUTH (despite the LH) in Berwickshire and LH 23 is "Golden Quest" registered in Leith

Bill, glad you enjoyed, but don't get me started. I'm a landscaper at hart and I live in a place that's chock full of stone buildings. So “old homesteads” - well I might have the odd one or two pictures.
But wait – we have Lady Jo trying her best to keep us up to speed with super photos of two different forms of racing and all kinds of contemporary images from every point of the compass. Better to moderate – so we will just sneak one more in for now.

This is from Upper Coquetdale – inland sheep country.

Wonderful Nick! I would imagine a shooter could wander those valleys a million times and not run out of great imagery.
