Holy smokes Jay. You really got the goods at Nellis. What a terrific series.

One more photograph of an OV-10 posing in some great light.

Thank you Jeff W for the Bronco images! I had never really considered this as a beauty, but with the images you presented and the light you worked with and a other than olive grey paint job, it is actually on the verge of being sexy........Mike

The following link was posted in a thread on a R/C modeling site I frequent. I ran it by Shooter, and he said to post it.

So, for the viewing pleasure of the U.S. contingent of MA2A, I post the following link.

For the non U.S. contingent, the video is not aviation related, but you are welcome to view it also.

Nice, Ken: thanks. One of my favorite parts of every barbershop convention is the singing of the national anthems by 8,000 or so well-trained voices. Since it's an international affair, it can take awhile.

Thanks much Jay, I am going to do that very thing and hang it in my office.

Thank you for the kind comments Mike. All credit for the beauty in this photograph goes to Heavenly Father. He was very generous and provided some incredible backdrops for the Bronco's. Without his handy-work, these images would not have been that interesting

Dear Brian,

I'd be happy to help you in any way that I could. As I've mentioned many times before, my shooting style and schedule just doesn't lend itself to having assistants. A good example of why is my upcoming Florida assignment, weather has postponed it four times, walk on airfare is two grand, hotel will be another thousand. If I had an assistant that could be flexible enough to go when the shoot actually happens, it would add $3,000 to travel expenses, plus a week of the assistant's fee. Pretty soon, no matter how much the client likes your work,

Part of the irony of 2013 was that I was 100% flexible until a couple months ago when I had to get a day job. It was my most productive year for perfect pixels, just not for income. 2014 so far has been pretty much the opposite. The doubling of expenses makes total sense, and I wouldn't blame them for looking elsewhere either. I am not looking for out of state stuff, though I have a few bucket list items for Florida myself. Really just right here locally to me is my start point, just not sure where that one pebble is to unleash the water behind the dam. I will find it though, that is for sure.

After 4 days, our windchill is finally over 32!

Tried something new with the canopy, did my sharpen mask with a multiply inside the cockpit excluding the humans. What do you think, original or the trial? I could pull back the opacity some.

I like the new improved method, Wrei. The original is excellent, though, too: it always helps to start with a quality exposure.

Just picking a nit Wrei, but it looks as if the Gamma is a tad bit too high on the GIB's face in your second version. I'd go back in and tweak the contrast on his face a little bit. Looks a little washed out and a little flat. Otherwise, you've added a lot of pop!

The tone of the canopy is more matched to the background colors too, nicely done.
