I went for a 2hr cross country fly in one of these on the weekend....great little plane......

No, that's Mother Nature taking the light away! 500mm f/4 @ 1/125 .. f/4!

So I've been having an issue with getting this ballhead to tighten properly. Closer inspection shows that the ball is cracked and a large chunk is flat-out missing!

Do be sure to preflight your gear!! The camera and lens you save may be your own!

Gotta tell Ya, as much as I've always wanted a Mustang, that airplane and a million seven left over wouldn't be much of a compromise. My Buddy who owns it could buy any plane he took a fancy to, and pay for it by peeling off 100 dollar bills. His reasons for having the Tucano restored to perfection, instead of a warbird are pretty compelling.

Still, there's nothing quite like a.......................

A) How many shots I can fit onto a 32gb card over a 12hr timelapse at max resolution.

B) How to keep the camera powered for a full 12 hrs to do the timelapse - especially as my only power sources will be either 1) spare batteries or the battery back pack or 2) Airplane in-seat power supply, so may be able to trickle charge the battery.
