I have a friend there have invested in a apple cinema 20" widescreen monitor. He is a PC user with vista as OS. We have tested the monitor on my macbook pro and it works great. but when we connect it to his pc with the screen cord adapter it does't work. There is no connection... I have tried to do everything but nothing help... Do the monitor need a driver or is there anything els to do?
What "screen cord adapter" are you using? The Apple Cinema Display is a digital display using a DVI connector. You may need to set the video card to digital and the ACD's native resolution (1680 x 1050).
