I REALLY like the design, layout, and navigation of the site.

The photos load just a BIT slow on my Cable internet, but not much of an issue.

One last caution: Flash can be a problem for Search Queries (Google, Yahoo, MSN.com, etc.) and your site may not be searchable because of this. Also Flash can be an accessibility issue. In this day and age of technology it is surprising to know that only around 60% of internet users have Flash available/enabled, meaning those who don't have Flash see NOTHING. [edit] I've been doing a little research and I'm actually not sure on that 60% number, someone may want to chime in here on the actual percentage. I do know there are accessibility issues, just not sure the exact percentage[/edit]

However, Flash is good for designs and overall "coolness" and also aids in your photos safe from being stolen.

Overall, a job well done!

I like it. Maybe you could start to load the next picture from the time the previous one get displayed, and not after the top-right countdown... it will save a few seconds.

You may want to check the User-agent of a request. If there is a Google, Yahoo (...) inside, just throw your text and pictures as is.

most people don't know how to steal photos from Flash sites, is all I am saying. If you REALLY wanted to steal a photo from a Flash you could do it. But few people will go through the trouble.

A few corrections:

Flash can be problematic for section 508 compliance, however, this is only really critical when dealing with governmental or corporate sites that should have as much information as accessible as possible to as many people possible. Photography being the visual medium it is, really doesn't fall under these same types of guidelines and tends to be fairly targeted.

Flash CAN also be accessible to search engines. It is critical that best practices be used in order to do so. There is information in the Adobe Knowledge Base area to help developers with such challenges. Here is a direct link:

http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_16603

Flash also has one of the highest saturations of any online delivery method plug-in with close to 98% saturation. Flash is installed by default in most browsers.

http://www.adobe.com/products/player_census/flashplayer/

Best practices also allow flash developers to develop alternative content for users that do not have the plug-in (or correct version) installed. This can easily be done through JavaScript.
