These are very interesting shots with lots of movement. I am not sure which one I like better. I prefer the sky and background of the first one better and the rider on the second one better. Perhaps you could try a blend. Just a thought. Good luck this week.
The first is a better photo, I think. The second looks more "motion-y" but I don't like the dark band of the horizon going thru his head.
But in both of these I would rather see the rider from the front.

I like the first one best, too! I think the length of the image with a shorter height gives the whole a greater feeling of motion, and all the dust gives it texture.
If it were me, I'd go with the first! Good Luck, Ericson!
