Dustin, hope you like your new Samyang. I was surprised to see that you sold your Tokina 17mm 3.5. The photos you took with that lens were outstanding!

Thanks guys. I sold it because it needed repair (aperture wouldn't change when mounted right side up - so mounting "up side down" allowed for the aperture to change).. Fastest sale I have ever had on the FM boards

The Samyang looks to be a great lens, and excited to shoot with it

@Tarocco that lens seems to have great character, someday i should get a Zuiko or Takumar, by now i have tried most Rokkors, some Zeiss G glass and a few FDs but nothing else.

Ebookman, second shot is really special.

Phillip, shot of the chair with the Rokkor is really quite moody / nostalgic. Excellent.


Breaking the rules here. Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS. It is alternative for me, if not in an absolute sense. Northern elephant seals.

Three donkeys, I am the one under the hat kneeling behind the tripod. I saw this blur appear in the VF, and nearly fell over when I saw these two visitors. And a guy using a mobile in a back street in Lhasa, Tibet. Sony a77 and CZ 16-80mm
