I noticed that to.I could not believe how less expensive KEH was than any where else.I did not think it would last long at that price.It is a very nice lens.Just need to take a few extra seconds to make sure that you get critical focus.Colors are great.Just a bit of green CA in OOF areas but i can live with it.It is built like a tank.

When i converted to FF (1Ds) from my 1.3x (1D), 50mm became my most used focal lenght.
In that FL i have Planar 50/1.4 and Rokkor 58/1.2. While at similar FL they are totally different for me. Planar is walk around, landscape and easy to focus lens. Rokkor is used on occasions when i want specially smooth pronounced background and usually thin DOF; something like fast 85mm lens.

1Ds + CZ Planar 50/1.4

#3 f1.4 no postprocessing

Interesting effect on images from the iphone. Almost pinhole or holga -like.

Hopefully it doesn't have the same effect on voice quality. ;-)
