What camera body are you using the Rollei on? Are you shooting a med format camera, or did the lens get adapted for SLR?

Last I recall, foto-z uses a Hy6 with a Sinar back.

I would not have thought of using a 25mm lens for that shot. Very creative.

I had mistaken it to be the zf 50 mp during the shooting session. Only discovered that I had used the ZF25 instead of the 50mp after the whole session. The close focusing range makes it like a macro lens.

Should have realised that I had used the wrong lens. Under 10x magnification under live-view, I had problem get the details to be razor-cutting sharp.

I like everything about the shot except her freckles are too much, too dark, too distracting, espcecially for a beauty shot. I like the close in shot of the 1st model the best.

Nice flower shot, love the color and sharpness.
I think Lloyd Chambers of Diglloyd has remarked that he like the ZF25 for up close, pseudo macro shots like this because of its very short min focusing distance and the extreme curvature of field of this lens.

The close up ability is one of the main reasons why I acquired and keeping this lens!
But just don't expect the same sharpness of the macro lens.

Brought out my Zeiss 85 Planar today...I haven't used it in a long while, finding it too difficult to focus on my 30D, but I have renewed interested on my 1DsII. It's not quite as sharp as my old 85L, but it's still very nice, and it's got beautiful rendering. I may swap it out eventually for an MM model to get rid of the Ninja Star highlights at f/2 and f/2.8, but otherwise, it is still a very good lens.

Hello Jman, you are using the C/Y German AEG version?
Why is there any difference to the MM version? I thought only the coating was different.
BTW: it's a nice picture of your daughter.
