For the obsession part. It was snowing for the past few days, but warmed up to the low 40s. That morning it was misty/light rain and we decided it would be a good day to climb. Luckily the wall we wanted to go to was bowl shaped and had the high chance of being dry, which it was!
On a side note, does anyone know why the colors in my picture are not the same as I see them. The colors seem more dull on the web. The original picture was a .nef converted to .jpeg with sRGB color profile. The sRGB looks much better on my computer than it does on the web, any ideas? Thanks

Terrific shot that is extremely dramatic. Great work. As far as I know sRGB is the right color space for the web. Most web browser can't use wider color spaces. Did you change from 16-bit mode in your post-processing program to 8-bit for jpeg? If so this can make the colors more dull. My guess is that is the culprit. Good luck this week.
Great perspective. The muted colors I thight were intentional. When I am involved with one of my obsessions I zone out and stop noticing all around me.
