Well, Sort of.

The standard Arches shot as I was learning a new camera. But the sun came out for about 2 minutes right at sunset, shining brightly on Balanced Rock against a black, overcast sky. Then it was gone.

Oooohh! Very cool capture, Craig! Lovely warm lighting on the pillars, and the dark and angry looking sky really sets them off!!

Nice shot ! The lighting here is really sweet. BTW, not a fan of the thin white line - especially since it is uneven (R is wider than L) - try black next time w/ same width all around

A great shot. Congratulation.
This is a perfect example of how light can totally transform a landscape which by itself would have been nice but not extraordinary.
I am just wondering if the composition would have been a bit better by including more of the rocks at the bottom.

In any case, a portfolio grade image.

I know the light was intense at that moment, but it still seems too saturated in the reds.
