p.1 #1 · Printing Pricing Question

To All,

I usually do my printing at Costco which I think does a relatively good job at a low cost.

But I was wondering, is it better to print at home as far as quality/pricing, all things considered & get an Epson printer, maybe the R800 model or to continue to use outside services such as Costco.

I have a Canon I950 at home, but it seems extremely expensive cause I find myself always refilling those ink cartridges.

Thanks!

I gave up on at home printing. WHCC is so much easier and cheaper for me. The quality is great. If you want a larger print from an inkjet there are people out there who can do them professionally on the large format top of the line printers. $4-20 for the really big stuff. Send the file and be done. Much easier than using and maitaining a printer yourself.

Look into Mpix or WHCC...much better than most Costo stores.

Hola - yep better to send it out - you can send it over the internet and pick it up later. I use Sam's Club for non critical prints. Business events, bands...weddings and portraits I use MPIX. If you mess up one print at home - there goes you profit. andy.
