I know the obsession all too well...especially with the rebates going on now, I've been eyeing the 70-200 f/2.8 IS. I really like the composition of your image. I played around with similar setups but couldn't get anything to look just right. I finally ended up going with my current submission. Good luck.

Thank you ViperMike & Ruuskan! When I first got into digital photography, I didn't think I even wanted a DSLR.... I was wrong. Then I figured, all my old lenses from my Canon Rebel film camera would do just fine... wrong again. Now I have a wish list that adds up to a scary amount!!
Thanks for your kind words and suggestion, Adam. I left the filters on purposely...They are an "inseparable" part of every lens I have for that very reason--careful treatment. I never consider taking them off.
Elegant is just the tip of the iceberg. Wonderfully shot, superbly lit and great subject. I am sure I am basis but in my opinion this is a awesome shot. Good Luck
