I just got a stroboframe macro bracket and I think its wonderful. I have one small problem with it however... I want to attach a Kirk arca swiss clamp to the camera attachment section but need to align it so that I can use it with the foot on my 200mm f4 micro. It turns out that I cannot turn the knob to lock the clamp in this direction however. Does anyone know of something that may make a good 1-2" spacer between my clamp and the base of the stroboframe ? I hope this is even remotely clear to someone...... and happy holidays.

Yes the clamp is supposed to be on the bottom of the camera. If I rotate the clamp 180 degrees, I have the same problem....
If I rotate the clamp 90 degrees, then the lens foot will not fit in, since the clamp is not pointing in the right direction. Please try and envision my photo WITHOUT the camera attached. Its the only one I could find.

Ah, I understand now...you're attaching to a lens foot, not directly to the camera (as in the picture)...and it's going on the bottom rather than the side.
Did I get that all right?
So, why not attach to the bottom of the camera rather than the lens foot?

I believe the lens is much more secure and possibly less vibration when connected to the lens foot as opposed to the body. For high mag. macro, this is important to me...

Oh, so you're planning to mount this on a tripod rather than handhold it?
...attached to my lens foot, or L-bracket (with an adapter bar), to mount two flash heads. Probably a little more expensive than your setup, but it works very well with my MT-24EX dual flash.

... I just got this stroboframe yesterday and its more then enough for what I will be doing. just need to figure out this minor hurdle at 1/5 of the price, I will rig something up for it....
