p.2 #1 · Attire Question

Nice black pants, shirt, shoes. Big fan of Express dress shirts, since they're actually cut to make you look good, not look like a big burnt marshmellow.

I wear the black Dockers Superpant. I'm a thin guy (34 waist, 32 Leg), and they have a little give built in for the stomache to grow some (happened finally to me). I go with the Superpant for one reason. Water and Dirt just don't stick. Which means, I can lay, sit, squat, position myself however I want. Seriously... =o) Almost totally waterproof. Just brush it off!

Then I wear my lucky ribbed short sleeved white Ralph Lauren dress shirt. It's contemporary, dressed up, dressed down, clean looking and again seems to not hold a stain. I think I've been lucky. I also have a black one and a grey one and light blue one.

I wear J.C. Penny sqaure toe dress shoes, but the soles give out halfway in the season. I'm picky with shoes, as I want a padded ankle support and most dress shoes don't have that and good looks. I found these online and I think I'll give them a try. Not only are they good looking, they apparently are built for the working man.

God bless guys!

I don't wear it, but it's specific gear to keep you cool and it absorbs the sweat from your body so your clothes don't get icky.

Also, because as the commercials state: WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!

Black pants and a very nice black t-shirt for church & reception. I have a change of clothes for location shoots, usually something I do not mind getting dirty like fatigues.

Black pants and a black or dark shirt made of coolmax material. For the last wedding I picked up a pair of black golf slacks and they were awesome. The pants were comfortable and cut perfectly for the range of movement needed when shooting a wedding...

"A photographer is an artist, and artists dress like slobs, so photographers dress like slobs" belongs in a studio, which is your environment.

I believe in dressing commensurate to the better dressed guests, not at the slob end of the guest dress scale. But I also have dressed in tux, as guests seem to treat the photographer with greater respect and it is easier to get buystanders to comply with requests when you look more like the wedding party!

Black pants, black shirt and tie, with a nice coat that I take off after the ceremony. Most people comment on how well I dress, and I think it helps make it feel more like a "high class" service.
