I am having issues using the image processor in bridge/photoshop CS3.. I select the images in bridge have open them up with the image processor.. I have it set to save them all as jpegs and it has no problem doing this, but when I ask it to run an action it says "script alert" and says it cannot process the files, and it SAVES the jpeg to the folder but does not close down the psd.. so how do I get it to save the files, close down the PSD without saving and continue running? Any ideas as to why im having this issue?
Sound like that an error may have happen in the action you had the Image processor use and the Image Processor script could not handle the problem and the Image Processor terminates before completing its process.
Try creating a simple test action like one that just does one step like auto levels. See if this will work with the Image the other image processor setting you made.
I experiended this error, and found reports by a few others of similar errors with the defaule CS3 Image Processor. While at the same time may others claim no problems. So it appears that the Image Processor has a "configuration dependent" problem with a few installations.
I downloaded the updated Image Processor from the Russell Brown site and it worked with no errors. So I recommend that solution. Google "Russell Brown" to find his site, locate the "new improved" Image Processor script and download it.
