This is a great take on the WA. She certainly seems out of place in this image. I would like to see more detail in the black, however. Still a very interesting idea and well crafted shot. Good luck this week,
Marc, I see exactly what you had in mind with this shot and why you shot it. Excellent! The comp is giving me a wonderful sense of surrealism but it feels a bit too real. What do you think?
I think it might feel like that because of how I finished the shot. I found that the trees in the background were too soft and it wasn't setting the right mood for it, so I sharpened the trees until I had the feel I wanted while leaving the rest untouched. So in essence, the composition starts on the real side but finishes unrealistically.
