A week or so ago I had a zipper break on my 8 moth old Slingshot300. I sent Lowepro an email that afternoon and got a reply 5 mins. later saying to return it to a California address for warranty inspection. I sent it UPS ground which took it until 11-8 to get there. Today UPS delivered a brand new one to me. That's what I call pretty good service. To express ship the bag to me did impress. Thumbs UP Lowepro.
Really nice to get good service.
I have a Jansport day pack to carry my camera gear that
I have had for 20 years and 5000 miles.
Lifetime warranty, sent it back a few times for repairs.
Usually back within a week of when I sent it and good as new.
I have a lot of LowePro stuff and not one has ever broken or needed repair. But good to know they stand behind thier product in a prompt, professional fashion.
The laptop's compartement zipper of my Lowepro Computrekker broke last year. It was fixed for free by LowePro, even though the bag was over 2 years old and the warranty does not cover zippers for life (only tissue). Took three weeks though. The zipper was done in Europe (bag bought in France).
I had a buckle break a couple of years back (Off Road bag, which has both a shoulder & waist strap) and they shipped me a new one very quickly once I contacted them, and that bag was likely close to 12 years old.
