p.1 #1 · Lee filters and ultra wide lenses

friends - I switched from cokin P filter system to a Lee 100mm system and to my dissapointment, the 77mm ring still vignettes on a tokina 12-24. Does anyone know if the wide angle ring will correct this ? link

thanks

Justin

did you get the Lee SWM 77mm ring?
did you remove the holder notches down to only one?

even at FF which i usually shoot there are limitations at 16mm if rotated to about 30deg off vertical alignment it will vignette a little. its just one of those things i either avoid or touch up later,

yes it is the super wide mount. and it will help

using that mount as i do moves the whole filter assy as far back as it can go without making physical contact with the actual lens ring itself. it give you a degree or two more latitude

sorry didn't see the link

a 12mm lens on a 1.5 crop camera will result in a roughly 17mm FF effect
