colors are great, model is lovely, I would like to see this with shallower depth of field and bg more out of focus..

good concept, good lighting..

What bothers me about these pictures is Sharlene looks to be about 14 or 15 years old.

Cool shots Jeff, she looks very comfortable in front of the camera!

The bright colored background on #1 and #3 distracts me a little bit, but I like it nonetheless! Well done!

Lovely shots.
Light is nice.
Post work is perfect.

I have to agree with DW here, the red is kind of distracting.
I don't think it would bother me as much if it didn't bleed onto the model.

She looked like she was fun to work with. Looks very comfortable..

nice work.

Hi Jeff,

I actually don't mind if she looks 15. I'm 30 but I also look like I'm 15. 15 pounds overweight.

Seriously, you did a great job. The poses are nice and she is very sensual. I agree with Dave about the DOF.

Regards,

Boka

i actually was after color bleed. gives it the whore house feel...

ooo..i shouldnt type such things here!!

she's a good model, considering she's never done it before.

They all look pretty terrific to me. Was the color bleed effect added in PS? Really enjoy assessing your amazing work. The balance in the mirrored shot was perfect. Your feel for color...and composition are exemplary and to me at least, seem unique. To have reached a distinguishable style is indeed a high achievement.

i just turned the softbox enough so the color was feathered onto her face. i could have easily not done it.

i also wanted it to be obvious it was a kitchen hence why i shot at f/10.

thanks for the comments.

A nice, professional job, EXCEPT for the second pose. She looks as if she is balanced on one hand and one foot, because she doesn't have two feet. She looks like she fell and you caught her on the way down. Sorry.

I agree. All the girlie magazines use soft focus to make it more romantic instead of the here-I-am, inspect the merchandize kind of shot.
