I know lots of you already get Studio Photography magazine (since its free too!). Anyway, I got an email from them recently, offering a free canvas print from canvasondemand.com They provide a coupon code for an $84 canvas after you sign up - whatever... I gave it a try. Just can't say enough about how happy I am - so here is the link:
www.canvasondemand.com/studio/
EDIT - I tried to post a couple pics about what I recieved, but couldn't as I'm not a paid member here... so much for trying to be helpful You'll just have to read my thread on another forum (sorry):
BTW - I'm NOT affiliated with the company in any way, there is no referral bonus to be had, or any other weird stuff. I'm just a very happy customer & hope that EVERYONE will take advantage of this. I belong to several different photog. forums - sorry if you've seen this elsewhere - and you can find other people's opinions in the link.

YAA! ok, this was taken in my kitchen last week - every single person who walks in looks, their jaw drops, and then they ask 'how much?'
I'm tellin you - DON'T pass this up just because my name isn't familiar, or you think this might be 'spam', or any other silly reason. I personally took the image, that IS my daughter, and there are NO catches.
(at least one friggin 'thank you' would be nice...)
I'm also willing to help anyone who would like to work an image up to this size
Everyone, I whole-heartedly assure each of you that I am simply a happy customer of their business who wants to share a VERY good (simple, safe, no-spam, no 'catch') deal with the FM community.
I may not have posted much here, but i HAVE learned alot here, and am simply trying to return the favor.

I guess I'm not giving up any info somebody else can't just sell them anyway.
J,
I am a valued and long standing member here. I too have just received my 16X20 (that's what the 84 dollars covers, after registered you see the DISCOUNTED Studio pricing, not the "Normal" client pricing).
You pay 15 dollars shipping and get a gorgeous canvas print. =o)
hehehe - good eye, Duncan! I hoped to 'show big, sell big', and order a larger canvas than 'just' what they offered for free. That is the beauty of the offer - since it is an actual credit, I added another $20 & got a much larger print. (I'm talking about the cost of the print; shipping is $14.95) I suppose you could even order two smaller prints, or add more money & get an even larger print, or order more than one, or.....
It really is a flexible offer, and part of the reason I am so incredibly happy with it. Ask around - search the internet - read other forums....... just DON'T ignore this offer!!!!!
the ONLY thing i regret is NOT going even larger, or getting more than one!
The only thing that sucks is that you gotta be living in the US.
Would anybody be so kind and send it to Australia?
Well I guess there goes the discount
I signed up, but Ive never had to deal with printing before so Im a little confused. I wanted to print a portrait shot...when I went into photoshop, I set the crop tool to 16in x 20in...I couldnt get the whole image to fit. Could only fit about 3/4 of the entire image. Which other canvas size would allow me to fit in the entire image?

Daniel.
Is the original file in Vertical or Horizontal format? Mine was a Vertical shot.
I uploaded it to the printers, per their instructions, I let THEM determine the best upsizing of the file IF needed.
They stated this in multiple locations on how to prepare the file.
The key to canvases typically are not wantint to lose the sides and tops of important parts of an image. If so, you need to tell them to add a color around your image, to preserve the integrity of the photo.

Clarify... that is for the standard 3/4 inch wrap size. I ordered a Museum quality wrap at 16X20 for 84.00 plus 14.99 shipping and handling.
You will see sir... that this is a good quality product and company. There is no need to be a skeptic or hardnose to anyone.

tmiller, I just checked out the print sizes, 16x24 works perfectly. Now Im wondering if I should pay an extra $20(minus shipping) to get the 24x36 .
Just pay attention to their guidlines... If you need to add CANVAS around your image do it, if not, not...
I'm a photographer. Not a printer. I leave the professional printing to the professionals. They leave the wedding, event, portraiture converage to me, another professional.
