While I'm waiting on the rest to batch process, here's a single grab from yesterday's wedding. Something New = Canon 40D. Something Old = Vivitar 285. Manual mode, flash fired via Pocket Wizards, RAW conversion via BibbleLite.
Really nice... ow do you like the 40D? I have a 30D and am thinking to upgrade next year... Thanks... 285's are still payin the bills..!! Makeesure you run a SAFE SYNC so the 285 won't kill your camera with back voltage...

Hi Mike. My 325s are the pre-HV versions... plus I've checked both with a voltage meter... back voltage is in a save range on mine. Doesn't really matter though, I only use them for off-camera/radio triggered lighting.
So far I'm liking the 40D. The big LCD is sweet... it focuses much faster than my 20D... Definately a good upgrade in my book. Now if Adobe just updates their software so I can do RAW conversion with software I'm used to.
Thanks John, William. The flash is a tad hot, but the wind destoryed the modifier I'd carried down to the beach and the bride was in too big of a hurry to get to the party for me to run back to the vehicle for a different one. I really got broader light than I expected. When the batch resizing gets done I'm may toss up a couple more for the wedding and 40D.
