The snail is slowly defying and conquering gravity while beautifully complementing your exquisite flower photograph.

Very nice pic Strad. I was wondering when somene was going to shoot a snail. But I did not expect such a beautiful shot of the snails enviorment. Very nice colors. A reeal winner.

Thanks, Ty. I'm glad you like it. I don't think snails are inherently all that nice to look at so I felt I needed something more interesting visually to help compliment the shot.

This was my other alternataive but I think the first one is vastly more interesting visaually.

Endre, I really like the lighting of your entry. Dapples of sunlight and the strong colors of the flower work for me...plus the focus on the snails eye is spot on. I also like your alternate version. Good luck!

So glad you like it, Patty! Actually. he was sleeping on our neighbor's wall. I woke him up when I transplanted him to the flower and after finding just the right position he went back to sleep on the flower itself.
