This is the 70's version of the 300/4.5 nikkor and is the cheapest one out there (fleabayed for <$100)...it came AI modified, but that isn't needed on the Canon adapter...and the results are fine...a steal of a deal in fact
Interestingly, this lens, and the 85/2 Nikkor both focus to the LED, whereas the two 135/2.8 lenses I have don't. THEIR point of focus is just as the LED goes OUT towards infinity....wierd, but it consistantly and reliably focuses at that point.
Other points...
RAW images are fine but they look better @ daylight setting and not AWB...
And exposure seems better at -1 than at 0...
